Dangerously loose slabs and holes in the pavement on Oban's George Street are causing 'numerous' injuries to pedestrians.

Bring back public sunbeds
A Fort William mum-of-four is to launch a petition asking Highland Council to reinstate sunbeds at Lochaber Leisure Centre.

Crown abandons sword case
A trial against an Oban man accused of carrying a sword collapsed after a debate about where he was searched.

'Don't give bank details' warns defrauded local man

Beefeater Moira victim of alleged bullying
A Lochgilphead woman who broke through the glass ceiling at the Tower of London has been the victim of alleged workplace bullying.
Moira Cameron was the first woman to be appointed a beefeater in 2007 after 522 years of exclusively male guards. She remains the only woman out of 35 yeoman warders.

Work finally starts on A816 at Carnasserie
Work is finally to start on a section of the A816 Lochgilphead to Oban road which was reduced to one lane after a wall collapsed nearly four years ago.

Farmer saves seal from certain death

An Indian carry-out was ordered at 10:20 pm on Tuesday October 13, to be delivered to Wallace Place, where a male... snatched the delivery and ran off.

Two bags of coal were stolen from the Kinloid Road in Arisaig.

Several windows of St Andrew's Church, Fort William, were broken.

A firework was put through the letterbox of a house in Wallace Place.

Petty crime just says so much about a community.
