My good English-major training forbids me from making an argument about a book without providing evidence from the text to back it up. I don't always stick with this rule on my blog, but I always feel the need to provide some textual support for my opinions.
My conscience was bothering me about my Little Bee rant a while ago. It was completely unsubstantiated!
Well, no longer. I've added some quotes which I hope illustrate some of the problems I found with the novel. I could have added many more... but I tried to find a representative sample.
