Snow!

Snow! Snow on the mountains! Snow in Oban yesterday, though it didn't stick around. Cold, cold, cold. This is the coldest it gets, even in winter, and usually most winter days are much warmer. At least this is how it was last winter. But I haven't seen it at its windiest, wildest.

I can't help it--when I think about Scotland, I think of the phrase Wild, Wet and Woolly.

What else is new? I am 30 years old now. Woo hoo! It's about time!

I still don't have a job. But, on a positive note, I'm teaching another creative writing class next month for the literacy center. I'm excited about that. It'll probably be about 3-4 learners, me, and Natalie Goldberg's spirit (of Writing Down the Bones).

We'll be freewriting away to our heart's content, if all goes well.
