Crime reports always tell you a lot about a community. These are collected from The Union Democrat's News of Record over the last couple weeks (click to enlarge).







Fifteen people fighting!? That would have been a sight to see. Not to mention a Jesus freak, a lone white calf, a trunkful of chickens, a horse stuck in the mud, an arthritic thief suffering from diarrhea, a missing mother, a bag of deer bones, and an angry woman throwing snowballs while desperately holding her bladder.

Sounds like some good short story material to me.
